From Vientiane

  1.    Take a bus direct to Pakse along with the road No. 13 south, at Pakse take a Tuk-Tuk to

         a "Bus Station Km 8 south" then transfer to a Mini-Bus for Ban Nakasang and transfer to

         a local long tail boat to Khone Island for SALA BAN KHONE "estimate time 14 hrs"

  2.    Take a bus from Vientiane at "T2 Bus Station" direct to Ban Nakasang and then

         transfer to a long tail boat to Khone Island "estimate time 24 hrs."

        Note: These bus will depart Vientiane on Mon-Wed-Fri-Sun only and its conditions                     is poor.
